It wasn’t easy to improve our venerable Equipe RS Jersey, but we did it by focusing on the little details that make all the difference when every second counts. And that’s exactly what the new Aero SS Jersey does, combining meticulously crafted design with a distinctively detailed finish that’s the star of the next phase of aerodynamics at ASSOS: a new phase called aeroFit. 

First, we used our proven miniCheck Tex circular knit fabric, a highly stretchy three-dimensional knit developed specifically with breathability and moisture transfer in mind. At the back, we used our Stabilizer fabric, which holds the jersey in place with its limited vertical stretch. Our choice of materials for the new sleeves (both raw-cut and taped), yoke and pockets, which needed to be as soft and flexible as possible, was also based on the aggressive position adopted by sprinters. This naturally went to our fine warp-knit Push Pull fabric, which offers, in addition to being quick-drying and 2-way stretch, high UV protection (UPF 50+).

In addition to the more precise aeroFit design, there are additional details that work together to achieve one goal: greater speed and comfort. It starts at the front, with the ultralight, self-locking, taped cam-lock zipper, seam-taped waistband, and combination of raw-cut and taped sleeves for a comfortable fit. In the back, we've employed our tried-and-true tri-part pockets to keep your gear secure, along with a lighter-elasticated hem for even more weight savings.
