MAXXIS Minion DHF 27.5x2.80 EXO TR 60tpi folding

Probably the most ridden and in recent years the most successful downhill tire in the world. The Minion DHF combines proven elements such as chamfered lugs for low rolling resistance and a smooth ride with longitudinally grooved lugs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precision in turns. It is the benchmark for fast trails, from light freeride to hard downhill.

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of TR tires is completely covered with a layer of rubber, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting on all standard rim sizes is successful already with the first inflation and with little fluid. "Normal" Maxxis MTB tires can also be mounted tubeless with sealant, like tires from other manufacturers, because the carcass fabrics are very dense. However, only the new Maxxis TR models are officially approved and guaranteed by Maxxis for tubeless mounting.

The Exo Protection tire is a new product from Maxxis.

The Exo Protection, made of extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the tire performance remains convincing. With the dual compound, two different rubber compounds are processed in one tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tires.
