The tire features wide side knobs for perfect cornering grip. and ramped to reduce rolling resistance. The TR version features a tubeless ready bead, allowing you to use it with or without a tube.

• EXO: Extremely cut and abrasion resistant material added to the sidewalls of MTB tires. This layer obtained with a super light dense weave does not affect the performance of the tire.
• TR TUBELESS READY: The TR tubeless ready version of MAXXIS provides the biker with many advantages: the ability to ride with a reduced tire pressure, which greatly improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tubed tire; less chance of having the tire on the flat. Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires have the same advantages as UST tubeless tires without the penalty of increased weight. The TR version uses a standard casing and therefore requires the use of anti-puncture liquid for air sealing. Maxxis TR tires are the only tires approved for use with anti-puncture liquid.
  Maxxis TR tubeless ready tires can also be used on non-tubeless wheels using an inner tube.
