The MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS is the most advanced cycling helmet we have made to date.

MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS offers maximum performance without compromising on safety, ventilation and weight. The MIPS AIR® protection system is integrated into the padding, maintaining the distinctive lightness of the Trenta 3K Carbon, with the addition of the most advanced system for managing rotational forces in the event of specific impacts. MIPS AIR® replaces classic padding and has been developed and designed to be as light as possible.

3K Carbon technology sets this helmet apart from any other currently on the market. Our R&D team discovered that the elastic modulus of carbon allows them to reduce the density of the EPS by 20%, without compromising its ability to absorb shock. The result is a lighter, higher-performance shell that sets a new standard in building the most ventilated road helmets.

Originally developed by NACA (later NASA), the distinctive NACA vent design generates an active cooling airflow. Thanks to the Venturi effect, external air is channeled through the helmet and expelled in a linear fashion through the rear vents together with the heat accumulated inside. This constant airflow does not affect aerodynamic performance, maximizing performance and ventilation.

The rear of the Trenta 3K Carbon has a major impact on aerodynamics and airflow inside the helmet. The design features two large vents and a deflector angled precisely 25°, the optimal position to facilitate airflow and provide maximum ventilation even on the toughest climbs.

All our road models are designed following specific aerodynamic criteria developed thanks to intensive wind tunnel testing in the NEWTON laboratory in Milan. MET Trenta 3K Carbon has a lower profile at the rear, designing a tubular tail that offers great aerodynamic benefits.

The MET Trenta 3K Carbon MIPS internal fit is exceptionally comfortable and designed so that only 30% of the helmet is in contact with the head. This allows the remaining 70% to benefit from the airflow that is channeled through the internal cavities, keeping the head cool at both high and low speeds.

Two front slots are designed to provide a secure place to insert sunglasses, whether climbing or resting. A thin rubber coating provides the stability needed to keep the glasses in place.
