MET Manta Mips helmet TADEJ POGAČAR BLACK EDITION

The new Manta Mips is the helmet that best represents MET's modern aesthetics and design. It raises the bar of performance beyond all expectations, it is as unique as the original but with a more cutting-edge design. Manta Mips is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to the new low-profile tubular tail. We developed this distinctive design in collaboration with the Newton laboratory wind tunnel in Milan.


MET Manta is equipped with the MIPS-C2® protection system that allows to dissipate rotational forces caused by specific impacts, completing the safety of the helmet in all its aspects. MIPS is hooked inside the shell through four elastomers that guarantee a slippage in all directions of 10-15mm, a movement that facilitates the absorption of rotational forces harmful to the brain.

The Fidlock magnetic closure makes attaching the helmet quick and easy.

To improve aerodynamics, the helmet shell is mostly closed. However, thanks to the NACA vent and internal air channeling, Manta maintains excellent ventilation and ensures a continuous flow of air inside the helmet. All this without negatively affecting aerodynamic performance.

Two front slots are designed to provide a secure place to place sunglasses, whether climbing or resting.

Born for performance, the Manta Mips is also exceptionally comfortable and stable on the head. The 360° headband ensures there are no uncomfortable pressure points, and the vertical and occipital adjustments ensure a personalized fit. The fit is inspired by the pure-award winning MET Trenta.
